Sullivan student’s Erin Adams, Favour Mamudu, Hair Hassan, KeJuan Redd and Olamide Olaleye meet every week with other high school writers from Senn High School discussing various subjects and topics to write about on the Rogers Edge Reporter. Topics vary from student’s experience learning remote, the pandemic, Sullivan news and more. This writing project rewards students with a stipend at the end of the semester for their hard work. This program is possible through Loyola University Chicago and the McCormick Foundation. Ms. Kordek, Mr. Jordan of Sullivan HS and Mr. Cullinane from Senn HS are the program leads.
